Channel 4: David Mitchell and Robert Webb return to Peep Show for one more series

David Mitchell and Robert Webb are returning for one more series of their award winning and very funny Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong.

Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong’s (Fresh Meat, Four Lions) multi award-winning comedy Peep Show is back on Channel 4 for its ninth and final series.

Last time we saw Mark and Jeremy they were abandoned and mildly electrocuted in a field, spurned by Dobby’s rejection of their declarations of love in favour of a new life in New York… it looked as though it could be the end of the El Dude Brothers.

Now approaching 40, with emotional scars still smarting and an impending wedding on the horizon, it seems that things might take an interesting turn for the pair.

Olivia Colman, Paterson Joseph and Matt King are all set to feature in the final series alongside some other familiar faces.

Peep Show launched in 2003 and has won several awards including; 2 BAFTAs for Best Sitcom and Best Male Comedy Performance; 4 British Comedy Award including the Best TV Comedy; 2 RTS Awards; A Monte Carlo Award and a South Bank Award.

Peep Show is made by All3 Media’s Objective Productions series. Produced by Hannah Mackay, directed by Becky Martin and executive produced by Sam Bain, Jesse Armstrong and Andrew Newman. Written by Sam Bain, Jesse Armstrong and Jon Brown.
