CHANNEL 9 MOVE GETAWAY TO SATURDAYS @ 5.30PM

Channel 9 have just announced this afternoon that holiday show Getaway will be moving permanently to a Saturday 5.30pm slot leading into the News.
The move comes after successful trials of the new time slot, MD of Nine Jeffrey Browne said “the new timeslot recognises the shift in multi-channel viewing during the week and provides a great lead-in for our Saturday evening News bulletin”.
Nine have also stated today that the move will mean the loss of several full time production staff on the show but all on screen reporters will stay on board… For now anyway!
