Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan have returned to Belfast to begin filming on what is intended to be the last season of nail bitingly tense BBC psychological thriller The Fall.
The production will pick up directly where the second series ended, Dornan’s serial killer Paul Spector lying bleeding in the arms of Anderson’s Stella Gibson having been ambushed during an expedition to reveal where he has bodies buried.
Colin Morgan from Merlin will also be back as will regulars John Lynch, Valene Kane and Stuart Graham will also be back whilst newcomers include Krister Henriksson, Aidan McArdle, Ruth Bradley and Richard Coyle.
Series creator and writer Allan Cubitt recently said “I’ve been on a very exciting journey over the last five years with Stella Gibson and Paul Spector – the central characters of The Fall – and I’m thrilled to have recently started filming the third installment of their macabre, obsessive dance of death.”
We can’t wait, the first two seasons were incredibly tense, albeit if at times it was very brutal it still kept us totally hooked. No word on an actual air date as yet but will keep you posted.
