The BBC have announced a new six part crime drama from the pen of Luther creator Neil Cross. Set in a modern day London that seems to be heading (along with the rest of the world) towards self destruction.
The series focuses on two detectives, Elaine Renko and Robert Hicks, as they struggle to cope with keeping the street crime free when the world has, at most, five years left. It’s a world in fact where behaving seems to have little point. Why bother being good if armageddon is around the corner?
Great to see that the series is being made for the BBC by the great Euston films is executive produced by Kate Harwood (Euston) and Elizabeth Kilgarriff (BBC One).
No word on either a filming date or casting details as yet.
