OPRAH WINFREY AND ALL STAR CAST FOR POST OSCARS JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE

Oscar time is almost upon us once again and once again Jimmy Kimmel will be holding his  annual “after the awards” special which will air on Sunday February 26. 

This year he has snagged Oprah Winfrey who will get the Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her inspiring philanthropic efforts which have brought credit to the industry.

This year marks the seventh consecutive Oscar special for Kimmel and will be bigger than ever before, with appearances by such notables as Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Cameron Diaz and many more.

Eight-time Academy Awards host Billy Crystal will join Kimmel to kick off his post-Oscar show, and Grammy winning Coldplay will end the night with a Hollywood block party performance on “JKL’s” outdoor stage before thousands who will be in attendance to honor movies’ biggest night.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2011 will be presented on Sunday, February 26, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network.  The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 225 countries worldwide.
