The Amazing Race Australia Is Struggling in the Reality Ratings

The Amazing Race which is four episodes into it’s second season is struggling to keep it’s viewing figures up as it struggles against the likes of the Juggernaut that is The Block and MasterChef. According to The Spy Report it’s trailing in third.

Against it, MasterChef Australia came in second with solid a 1.125 million viewers. This also helpedOffspring (906,000) achieve a season high.

With so much reality on offer, Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent (881,000) and Amazing Race Australia (695,000) both struggled.

Next week The Amazing Race Australia moves to a new Monday 7.30 timeslot in a bid to increase ratings now that Nine’s ratings juggernaut The Voice has vacated the slot….

The worrying thing to take away from the news of the timeslot change for the show is that it could signal the beginnings of a lack of confidence in the show from Channel 7 which could mean the eventual cancellation of the show.
