THE BIGGEST LOSER SINGLES: SIMON HURLEY ELIMINATED

It was a pretty emotional episode all round tonight as Simon recovered from his scare collapse during the challenge and Commando Steve got stuck into Graeme for his lack of training and the weigh in left two people on the verge of being torn apart.

Despite still feeling under the weather after becoming so dehydrated that he collapsed Simon still made it to last chance training with the Commando, Graeme though didn’t – saying he had a massive headache and he just couldn’t take part. Even after a visit from Commando, Simon and Alex he still shied off leaving Commando very unimpressed.

At weigh in time the first surprise was the fact that Margi had only lost 800g, she had immunity though and confessed that she hadn’t had the best of weeks. Meanwhile every body scored pretty low losses with the exception of Lydia who clocked up another 5 kilo weight loss.

Graeme managed to lose 3.7 kilos but told Hayley he was hoping for 8.5 this week (which given his still pretty large size he needs to be doing every week), this prompted Commando to get stuck into him whilst he was still on the scales – Graeme responded in kind with a few choice words of his own on just how the Commando was making him feel.

Meanwhile once all 8 remaining contestants had weighed in there was the realisation that sort-of-couple Simon and Lisa had fallen below the yellow line. This was the cue for a very emotional few moments in the elimination room as Lisa made it plain that she was ready to go home having finally confronted some very intense personal issues but how much of this was down to wanting to make sure Simon stayed we can’t be sure. Simon meanwhile was also saying he was ready to go home leaving the other six pretty unsure of where they stood.

As voting commenced it quickly became clear that Simons fellow former Black team members would be voting to keep him in and Lisa’s former team-mates would be voting to keep her in. Casey, once again found herself with the casting vote and voted out Simon (Michelle didn’t have to vote in the end as even if she had voted for Lisa it would have still seen Simon eliminated because he is weight loss percentage was worse than Lisa’s).
