THE BLOCK GETS A REVAMP AND RETURNS 20 JUNE TO NINE

The Block is being primed to be one of the big guns for Channel Nine this winter with Shelley Craft coming on board as new host alongside Scott Cam and a new stripped across the week at 7.00pm time slot.
The show has been filmed in Richmond and this time out the show is heading slap bang into Masterchef/Biggest Loser territory with eliminations and all new challenges. Also this time there are eight couples working on four houses next door to each other.
Craft is no stranger to the home renovation vibe though having worked with fellow host Scott Cam before on Domestic Blitz.
The Block Series Five begins on Channel Nine June 20, 2011
