Comedy drama series Packed to the Rafters follows Dave and Julie Rafter, middle aged and ready for some quality time together now that the last of their three children has flown the coup, however before you can say sitcom cliche the family are all wanting to move back in, daughter Rachel is in an abusive relationship and seeks comfort from her mum, son Nathan and his wife are desperate to move back in to save for a house whilst Julie's ageing father Ted is struggling to cope after the death of his wife.

A pretty engaging series created by the venerable Bevan Lee, lots of good dialogue and natural situations, the Rafters have pretty much the perfect little Australian house too. Fibro and classic.
