Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis as fake girls and Marilyn Monroe as the triumphantly authentic article in Some Like It Hot.
Billy Wilder’s Some Like It Hot is the outlandish story of two men (Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis) who accidentally witness a gangland slaying. They pose as members of an all-girl band in order to avoid the gangsters, who are now trying to silence them permanently. Marilyn Monroe is at her sensual best as the band’s singer. Joe E. Brown is also hilarious as a wealthy playboy who develops an attraction for an obviously bewildered Lemmon.
The movie itself was in black and white.
