Amazing Animal Births Episode 4 (ITV 3 Jul 2017, with Lucy Cooke)

Amazing Animal Births Episode 4

Filmmaker, photographer, zoologist and founder of the Sloth Appreciation Society Lucy Cooke continues this new series which
captures some incredible footage of baby animals as they take their first step, waddle or flap.

Naïve, tiny, fragile and fumbling their way into the world for the first time, nothing tugs at the heartstrings like an innocent,
newly-born animal. From kittens, pups and chicks, to baby hippos, giraffes, duck-billed platypuses and more, this programme
celebrates the wonderful world of animal births, taking a step closer to nature at its most innocent, beautiful and precious best. Viewers will get a unique chance to witness the most amazing animal births, filmed in zoos and animal sanctuaries across the country, in the wild and even in people’s homes.

In the fourth instalment, Lucy heads to an alpaca farm, where she helps with some complicated deliveries. Lucy also meets a woman who has over 300 guinea pigs, with cameras capturing the latest new arrivals being born.

Amazing Animal Births Episode 4 airs Monday 3 July 2017 at 8.00pm on ITV.
