Ant and Dec host as the eleventh series of Britain’s biggest talent competition reaches its exciting climax.
Following a thrilling week of live semi-final shows, the grand final has arrived, with a Sunday night packed with make-or-break performances from the voting public’s remaining chosen acts. The judging panel – comprising author and comedian David Walliams, singer Alesha Dixon, actress Amanda Holden and talent show supremo Simon Cowell – will be in attendance to offer their opinions on the night’s performances, but it is the voting public who now have the final say in selecting the show’s eleventh winner.
The judges still have the famous red buzzers at their disposal, but the performers, having made it this far in the competition, will surely be confident that their act is polished enough to go uninterrupted at this stage. Early favourites based on this year’s golden buzzer selections include young singers Sarah Ikumu and Kyle Tomlinson, teen dance group Just Us, comedian Daliso Chaponda and magician Matt Edwards.
As always, Ant and Dec will be on hand to provide support, either joining in with celebrations or offering a shoulder to cry on as the acts await the results of the final public vote. As in previous series, there will be major disappointment for many as some firm favourites fail to make the grade – testament to the level of talent on offer this and every year. Which performers will capture the public’s hearts this year, and who will eventually be crowned Britain’s Got Talent champion 2017?
Britain’s Got Talent Series 11 Final airs Saturday 3 June 2017 at 7.30pm on ITV.
Note: The final was originally scheduled for Sunday at 7.30pm but ITV announced the change of day 31 May.
