Catchphrase, the classic game show which taught viewers to say what they see returns for a celebrity special, hosted as ever by presenter Stephen Mulhern.
The famous faces lined up this week to play for charity are daytime TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, Benidorm star Jake Canuso and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo.
The three star contestants go head-to-head in a bid to identify hidden familiar phrases in the animated clues. The phrases are represented by state of the art 3D graphic animations. In a new twist for this 21st century incarnation of the show, the pressure is more intense than ever before as one contestant is eliminated from the competition after the first round, leaving the two remaining players to battle it out as they attempt to reach the final.
During the course of the show, the contenders must bank cash as they guess catchphrases correctly. They also have the chance to win big money if they uncover the coveted bonus catchphrase. The final contestant will then get the chance to face the Super Catchphrase round as they attempt to secure a massive £50,000.
Catchphrase Celebrity Special airs Saturday 24 June 2017 at 6.25pm on ITV.
