In the second of four episodes of Me and My Dog: The Ultimate Contest, airing on Wednesday 12 April at 8.00pm, eight owners and their dogs from across the UK compete together in a unique contest set in the testing terrain of the Lake District.
In episode two, the challenges are designed to test the levels of trust between man and dog. The Reds have the first chance to score points in a paddle-boarding challenge in the chilly Lake Windermere, while the Yellows take on canine parkour where the dogs must complete a series of woodland obstacles.
The ultimate test of trust is a cross-country race where the pairs are tethered together. The owners learn that all dogs are born to run – but some have trouble keeping up. When the final scores are revealed, who has triumphed in the second stage of the contest?
Me And My Dog: The Ultimate Contest Episode 2 (of 4) airs on Wednesday 12 April 2017 from 8.00pm-9.00pm on BBC Two.
