In the fourth episode of the second season of The Durrells, airing Sunday 14 May at 8.00pm on ITV, Larry is back at home. He has got the mumps and believes Vasilia (Errika Bigiou) is to blame. Louisa thinks that it is a good excuse to keep Aunt Hermione (Barbara Flynn) away from the house as she is coming to visit from England.
Meanwhile, Louisa still has doubts about her relationship with Hugh (Daniel Lapaine). Spiro (Alexis Georgoulis) arrives bringing Aunt Hermione to the house a day early along with her medium friend, Mrs Haddock (Una Stubbs). Mrs Haddock tells Louisa that she can sense her late husband is suffering terribly now Louisa has so many male admirers, and suggests holding a séance. The storm rages outside as Mrs Haddock asks the group to join hands and shut their eyes. Will Louisa communicate with her late husband and be able to move forward with Hugh?
Keeley Hawes returns in the role of Louisa Durrell for series two of the hit drama based upon Gerald Durrell’s trilogy of Corfu memoirs, including My Family and Other Animals. On a whim, Louisa had taken her eldest son Larry (Josh O’Connor)’s suggestion and made the life changing decision to whisk her four unruly children away to the sun-drenched island of Corfu. As well as Larry, there were teenagers Leslie (Callum Woodhouse) and Margo (Daisy Waterstone), and 11-year-old Gerry (Milo Parker).
The Durrells Season 2 Episode 4 airs on Sunday 14 May 2017 from 8.00pm-9.00pm on ITV.
