Follyfoot: Debt of Honour (ITV 6 Aug 1972, with Wolfe Morris)
In Debt of Honour, when Copper, the horse Dora is riding gets a cut foot (thanks to the activities of a fellow called Parkes), she is forced to take Copper to nearby Carne Manor. The colonel tells Dora that Lady Carne is an old friend and that she has one of the best stables in the area.
It quickly becomes obvious to Dora that something strange is going on at Carne Manor. Lady Carne then delivers her prize horse Jelliocoe to Follyfoot telling Dora and Steve that they mustn’t tell any one he is there.
Meanwhile Ron seems to be rather close with the sinister Parkes who as it turns out has his own reasons for wanting to get his hands on Jellicoe.
Parkes is in fact a debt collector and Lady Carne has run up gambling debts. Ron has got himself involved because he too owes Parkes money and he can square off his debt if he helps Parkes get Jellicoe. After being made to feel bad by Dora, Ron comes up with a plan to save the day.
