Packed full of amazing clips showing what goes wrong when you try to get away from it all, Holiday Horrors: Caught on Camera might make you never want to take a break again.
On average, the British have three holidays a year, and more and more they are filming every moment – especially on smartphones. Whether staying in the UK or going abroad, all the fun, excitement and drama is being caught on camera. Over four programmes, Holiday Horrors shows what happens when people’s holiday videos capture the unexpected.
Aeroplane angst, hellish hotels and washout weather, caught on camera to reveal that while holidays can be memorable, they do not always go quite according to plan. In the first episode of the new series, stories include a skiing holiday that became a fight for survival, the world’s worst case of sunburn and what happened when wildfire spread across the holiday hotspot of Javea on the Costa Blanca.
In addition, find out how holidaymakers coped with eating local delicacies, encounters with wild animals and fears of flying.
Holiday Horrors – Caught on Camera Episode 1 (of 4) airs on Wednesday 7 June 2017 from 9.00pm-10.00pm
