New for Saturday nights, the Keith and Paddy Picture Show is an affectionate and funny tribute to some of the comedy pals’ favourite movies of all time. Over five weeks, the self-confessed film buffs attempt to recreate iconic movies with the help of an all-star celebrity cast. Each half hour episode features a mix of high-end film parodies and behind-the-scenes mockumentary footage, following the boys as they endeavour to bring their recreations to life. What could possibly go wrong?
Following 2015’s hilarious Back to the Future tribute on ITV2, which featured the pair spoofing the 80s movie favourite alongside various stars of stage and screen, comedy character Keith Lemon – best known for his hit panel show Celebrity Juice and the revived series of TV classic Through the Keyhole – and comedian-turned top TV presenter Paddy McGuinness do their best to pay homage to more big screen classics.
Upcoming tributes includes 70s thriller Jaws, starring Stephen Tompkinson and Myleene Klass, but the series kicks off this week as Keith and Paddy unveil their version of Dirty Dancing featuring Jessica Hynes, Larry Lamb, John Barrowman and Kimberly Wyatt.
The Keith and Paddy Picture Show airs on Saturday 6 May 2017 from 9.15pm on ITV.
