The second episode in the all new rhyming series sees EastEnders star Nina Wadia, choirmaster and broadcaster Gareth Malone, comedian and composer Vikki Stone and presenter and 2016 Strictly winner Ore Oduba join contestants Carolynne and Craig as they hope to help solve a range of rhyming rounds.
First Craig and Carolynne go head to head in a quick-fire animated rhyming round, at the end of which the one with the most points gets first pick of the two celebrity teams, and then it’s on to three rounds of hilarity!
In Mime The Rhyme, Vikki and Gareth describe a celebrity whilst Ore and Nadia mime a rhyming action – and Nina has a sniff of Len’s socks in the hope of securing points!
Next, it’s on to Rhymewatch, where the teams attempt to identify all the rhyming pairs within a short film starring last week’s celebrity guest Anton du Beke as he gives an expert dance lesson. Finally, it’s time for News At Len, where the teams must guess the rhyming headline in four fictional news stories.
The contestant with the most points after these rounds goes on to play Rhyme Against Time, where they must solve six, three-part rhymes against the clock in order to win a holiday. The losing contestant doesn’t go home empty handed though, they leave with the coveted consolation prize of a Pen From Len.
Len Goodman’s Partners In Rhyme is the fun, play-along family show all about rhyming but the question is, who will be rhyming masters and who’ll be rhyming disasters?
Len Goodman’s Partners In Rhyme Episode 2 (of 6) airs Saturday 26 August 2017 from 6.45pm-7.20pm on BBC ONE.
