The third episode of Len Goodman’s Partners in Rhyme, the fun, play-along family show all about rhyming, airs on Saturday 2 September at 6.45pm on BBC One and sees contestants Brun and Isabella joined by four celebrities hoping to help solve a range of rhyming rounds.
In the first team are presenter Michelle Ackerley and comedian Russell Kane, and making up the second team are astrologer and former Strictly face Russell Grant, and actress Roxanne Pallett.
Brun and Isabella first go head to head in a quick-fire animated rhyming round, at the end of which the one with the most points gets first pick of the two celebrity teams, before they move on to play Mime The Rhyme. As Michelle and Roxanne describe a celebrity, Russell and Russell mime a rhyming action to the celebrity name and it makes for some hilarious viewing.
Next, it’s on to Rhymewatch where the teams attempt to identify all the rhyming pairs within a short film starring journalist and broadcaster Jeremy Vine. Finally, it’s time for News At Len, where the teams must guess the rhyming headline in four fictional news stories.
The contestant with the most points after these rounds goes on to play Rhyme Against Time, where they must solve six three-part rhymes against the clock in order to win a holiday. The losing contestant doesn’t go home empty handed though, they leave with the coveted consolation prize of a Pen from Len.
The question is, who will be rhyming masters and who’ll be rhyming disasters?
Len Goodman’s Partners In Rhyme Episode 3 (of 6) airs on Saturday 2 September 2017 from 6.45pm-7.20pm on BBC ONE.
