Award-winning actress and comedienne Dawn French shines a spotlight on some of the world’s most talented children as this brand new six-part series reaches its end with the season one finale airing on Wednesday 12 April at 8.00pm on ITV.
Based on the hit US format, the show looks to showcase the astounding flair and infectious passion these kids have for performing. There are no prizes to be won, no winners or losers, no competition at all to speak of. Instead, there is only a celebration of talent in all its forms, proving you do not have to be a grown-up to be a star performer.
In the final episode in this series, Dawn has managed, in time-honoured fashion, to save the best till last. She is dazzled by Sapphire, a 13-year-old Little Big Pop Star with a fan base of millions. She has fun meeting two eight-year-olds – super-competitive, tap dancing twins Freddie and Teddie from Los Angeles (pictured).
And she is tested on her cup stacking skills by a world class, ten-year-old super-speed stacker. Finally, Dawn finds herself leaning on a lamppost with a pint-sized George Formby, when he takes her back in time and teaches her a thing or two on the ukulele.
Little Big Shots airs on Wednesday 12 April 2017 at 8.00pm on ITV.
