The Loch Episode 3 (ITV 25 Jun 2017, with John Sessions)

The Loch Episode 3

Six-part drama The Loch continues with a cast featuring Laura Fraser, Siobhan Finneran, John Sessions, Don Gilet, Gray O’Brien and William Ash.

In a community nourished and sustained by myth and bordered by untamed nature, the search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for local detective Annie Redford (Fraser), who is trying to cope with her first murder case.

In the third episode, the police hold an appeal for the safe return of Jonjo. DCI Smilie (John Sessions) insists his disappearance is not linked to the murder of Niall Swift and dismisses rumours regarding the discovery of a human heart. However, Blake Albrighton (Don Gilet) hijacks the press conference throwing it into chaos by stating that the heart and murder of Niall Swift are connected and that they should be looking for a serial killer. The police set up a town meeting in the hope of catching the
killer by matching up their handwriting with the newspaper – but an unexpected discovery outside the village hall has everyone stunned.

The Loch Episode 3 (of 6) airs Sunday 25 June 2017 from 9.00pm-10.00pm on ITV.
