The six-part crime drama The Loch continues with it’s fourth episode airing on Sunday 2 July at 9.30pm on ITV.
In the fourth episode, Jonjo’s father rejects Smilie’s (John Sessions) condolences, blaming him for the death of his son. College Principal Craig Petrie (Alastair Mackenzie) is questioned as the main person of interest. Petrie is connected to both victims, but he also throws doubt on Leighton’s alibi during the time of the murder, forcing Annie to investigate.
As evidence mounts against Petrie, Quigley (Siobhan Finneran) agrees to allow Albrighton (Don Gilet) into the interview to help
crack Petrie’s composure. But things take a downward spiral when Petrie turns the tables.
Annie’s faith in Leighton (William Ash) is destroyed when she proves his alibi for Swift was fake. But, with Leighton possibly holding the key to preventing more slayings, Annie must decide if she can trust him to help.
Laura Fraser, Siobhan Finneran, John Sessions, Don Gilet, Gray O’Brien and William Ash lead the cast of the series. In a
community nourished and sustained by myth and bordered by untamed nature, the search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for local detective Annie Redford (Fraser), who is trying to cope with her first murder case.
The Loch Episode 4 (of 6) airs Sunday 2 July 2017 from 9.30pm-10.30pm on ITV
