The British version of the popular Real Housewives reality format continues its fifth series on ITVBe on Monday 15 May with an episode called Nice Day for a Gay Wedding. The show steps inside the champagnefuelled lives of beauty salon boss Ampika Pickston, interior designer Dawn Ward, housewife and mother-of-two Lauren Simon, children’s fashion designer Leanne Brown, former model turned life coach Tanya Bardsley, fashion label founder Seema Malhotra, and Stacey Forsey, the wife of former Sports Direct chief executive David Forsey.
Cameras follow these formidable and often very funny characters and their complex intertwined lives as they go about their day-to-day activities, offering an insight into their lavish homes and luxurious lifestyles.
Viewers also get a look at some of the glittering social occasions that these women attend, including book launches, fashion shows and charity events. This series sees the departure of model Misse Beqiri as a main housewife, although she has promised to pop up as a friend to the cast in future episodes.
Misse’s replacement has already caused quite a stir amongst the ladies, but the real drama so far this series has stemmed from several ongoing feuds amongst the ladies. This week, it is Nick and Royston’s big day as they renew their vows at Warford Hall, but will everyone attend? Ester comes clean about her secret double life with some big revelations for the rest of the housewives.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire airs on Monday 15 May 2017 at 10.00pm on ITVBe.
