The search for young talent continues this week on ITV with the third instalment of The Voice UK’s junior version.
McFly superstar Danny Jones and pop princess Pixie Lott join Voice veteran will.i.am as the three coaches carry on their search for a singing star of the future. Emma Willis hosts as the show’s blind auditions continue, with kids aged between 8 and 14 taking to the stage hoping to get those infamous red chairs spinning.
The talented children are battling for a prize of £30,000 towards their musical education and a family holiday to Disneyland Paris. Pixie began her music career at the age of 15 after being discovered by American record producer LA Reid, and has gone on to sell more than 4 million singles and 1.6 million albums worldwide. Danny is one of the lead vocalists and guitarists in McFly, who have sold more than 10 million records worldwide and notched up 7 UK number one singles.
Between them they have an extensive knowledge of how the music business works and what it is like to start young, but which of them will make the best coach?
