The object of the Jungle set game involved the naked contestants trying to track down fig leafs. Remarkable the large set used was the set used for the kids game show Jungle Run.
NAME THAT TUNE UK / Thames / x30m-e / 1983-87 Producer: David Clark A musical knowledge based quiz in which the contestants had to specify how many notes they would need to hear to 'name that tune'. The series had been a segment on the variety show Wednesday at Eight. Hosted by Tom' Connor and then Lionel Blair. Also resident on the show were singer Maggie Moone and the Alan Braden Orchestra. The show returned on Channel Five on 31 May 1998 (and to 1999) hosted by Jools Holland.
NEEDLEMATCH UK / Associated Rediffusion / x30m-e / 1962 black and white Producer: John P. Hamilton A Britain against America game style show hosted by Keith Fordyce and in which the latest records were 'put in the ring' against each other, so to speak.
THE NEIGHBORS USA / ABC-Warner-Carruthers / x30m-e / 1975 Weekdays 2.30pm Producer: Bill Carruthers Quiz. Five women neighbors take part in a quiz sort of seeing how much they know about each other. The five split into two teams, one of three, the other two. Host was Regis Philbin, assisted by Jane Nelson and the announcer was Joe Seiter.
NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS UK / BBC2-Hatrick / x30m-e / 1997-continuing Comedy music panel game show in the style of Have I Got News For You. Hosted by Mark Lamarr and with resident team captains Phil Jupitus and Sean Hughes. Hughes was replaced by Bill Bailey Late 2002.

Based on a French original and hosted by singer Suggs. From season two Sarah Cawood and Will Mellor assisted Suggs with Mellor on the girls side and Cawood on the boys.
NO BOUNDARIES Warner Brothers / x30m-e / 2002 In a quest for $100,000 and an SVU, 15 contestants trek from Vancouver Island to the Arctic Circle in a 30-day competition. Hosted by Troy Hartman.Some challenges were "team reward" ones where the group had to work together whilst others focused on working alone. Cancelled before the end of the trek.
NOW GET OUT OF THAT UK / BBC1 / x30m-e / 1984 Producer: Philip Franklin / Direcor: Brian Strachan An adventure style game show hosted by Bernard Falk in which two teams, one British the other American attempted to be the first to rescue a scientist trapped behind enemy lines.
NOW YOU SEE IT UK / ITV-Scottish TV-Talbot Television / x30m-e / 1980 Producer: Jim McCann / Associate Producer: Liz Davies A crossword game type quiz that was played on a large electronic board hosted by Scots comic Johnny Beattie and the format was owned by Talbot Television, the show was networked on ITV in the afternoons. NUMBER PLEASE USA / ABC / x30mins / January 31, 1961-December 29, 1961 black and whiteHost: Bud Collyer Number Please was basically the game Hangman with digits used instead of letters. Two players alternated in calling out numbers on a board on his or her row of 20 spaces to see what letter was under the blank space beneath that number. Gradually a phrase involving a prize was revealed, and the first contestant to identify the phrase before all letters were revealed won the prize. Winners could continue to play more rounds for additional prizes and a $500 check. Bud Collyer hosted the show three days after the cancellation of the other Mark Goodson—Bill Todman Production he oversaw. Beat the Clock. Goodson and Todman had sold this series to CBS in 1959 for a guaranteed daytime run of at least 26 weeks, but feeling uncertain about its potential, they stopped it from going on the network at that time.

surprised to discovered not only that they had been caught on camera but also

ONE MAN AND HIS DOG UK / BBC / x40m-e / 1966-99 then occasional specials Sheepdog trials with shepherds and their dogs competing in a knockout competition. Phil Drabble hosted the show for the first 17 years then Robin Page took over. The BBC decided to abandon the show in 1999 but after pressure from fans and the media consented to make occasional specials since then.

PASS THE BUCK Australia / 9 Network / x30m-e / 2002 (First Episode: Monday 11 February) Quiz show, shown weeknights at 5.30pm, hosted by John Burgess, it featured 10 contestants being knocked down to one in a series of word association rounds. Based on a UK original (see above) and filmed in Melbourne even though John was based in Sydney and commuted (he had his own morning Sydney radio show).
PERFECT MATCH Australia / 10 Network-Grundy / x30m-e / 1984-89 and 2002- Game show. Blind Date style show hosted by Greg Evans (1984-86) then Cameron Daddo (1987-88) before Evans returned for the 1988-89 season, the show used the same format as Blind Date with each contestant choosing from one of three hidden partners with the couple then coming back the next week to talk about how they got on. Also taking part were hostesses Debbie Newsome (1984-85), Tiffany Lamb (1986) and Kerrie Friend (1987-89). The show was revived on Saturday 24 August 2002 host was Shelley Craft.

PRICKLY HEAT UK / Sky One-London Weekend Television / x60m-e / 1998-continuing Executive Producers: Nigel Lythgoe, Jamie Roberts / Producer: Mike Brosnan Game show in which teams of four boys and four girls from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were taken to Majorca for two weeks to compete in the 'beach Olympics' which were basically a series of risque games. Presented by Julian Clary and Davina McCall (season One, then Denise Van Outen (from season two).
