101 DALMATIONS 2: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment / Released 14 January 2009

Featuring the voices of Jason Alexander, Martin Short

Originally released in 2003 Patch's London Adventure is a rip roaring sequel to the original 1961 movie. The movie opens with Pongo and Perdita (and their human owners Roger and Anita) getting ready to move their numerous brood to a new home - young TV addict Patch accidentally gets left behind . He embarks on a trek across London where he happens to run into his TV hero Thunderbolt (that one of a kind wonderdog) who decides to help young Patch get home.

There are some nice echoes here with the latest Disney epic Bolt as Thunderbolt has to get used to the real world and the fact that he is actually just a normal dog. There's a good subplot too involving Thunderbolt and his tv sidekick Lightening, who is hatching plans to get his own show. There is even a smallish role for the downright evil Cruella De Ville.

With marvellous animation that harks back to the style of the 1961 Patch's London Adventure is a hugely entertaining treat for the whole family.

Extras include a couple of games, a music video and a behind the scenes dog-umentary!
