Graze by Jason Roberts
Publisher: Macmillan | Large format paperback $25.00 | Available from all good bookshops.
Subtitled lots of little meals Fast...Graze is the first cook book from the popular chef on Channel 9's "Fresh" program and I have to say the book is better than the show!

The book is broken down into sections with headings like Tomatoes (my personal favourite in the book), Potatoes, Eggs, Pasta and Sassy Snacks to name but a few. Jason has developed some quick and easy that are packed with fresh ingredients and staples you are bound to have in the cupboard.
Speaking of keeping things in the cupboard the book has basic suggestions for building up a good pantry.

The book also offers explanations at the beginning of every section like the different  types of rice and potatoes to use for different cooking methods and the like. Jason has incorporated a new take on some old favourites as well as showing his culinary flair with some very easy recipes for more experienced entertaining.

Like all cookbooks there are some recipes in Graze that I would just not cook but on the whole there are more I would, simply for the ease and few ingredients needed for each one.

Let's face it who of us today wouldn't rather know how to throw half a dozen things in a pan and serve up a jazzy, fresh and healthy meal for our guests as well as keeping our family entertained. I like this book.
