CREATED BY Roy ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ Clarke Keeping Up Appearances is a hugely popular sitcom from the 1990’s that is still incredibly popular today.
The series of course stars the redoubtable Patricia Routledge as social climer Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Boo-Kay naturally) who is determined to live out her perfect suburban middle class lifestyle despite the fact that her working class family are on hand to always bring her down a peg or two.
Life Lessons From Onslow pulls together classic clips from the show as Onslow (Hyacinth’s layabout brother-in-law) prepares to teach a course on successful relationships with the Open University. Full of laugh out loud moments and extras that include interviews with Patricia Routledge and co-star Judy Cornwell as well as out-takes, this is definitely one to be recommended.
