LINKSSCOOBY DOO WHERE ARE YOU VOLUME TWO - BUMP IN THE NIGHT
Warner Home Video / Region 1 / Released May 5, 2009
Featuring the voices of Don Messick, Casey Kasem, Frank Welker,
"why I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you pesky kids".
Climb aboard the Mystery Machine as Warner continue with their releases of the original series of the iconic Scooby Doo in its original running order. Scooby, a snack loving Great Dane, belongs to eternal hippy Shaggy, who, along with his friends, Freddy, Daphne and Velma, travel around the states getting mixed up in crime and mystery. Most often, more by good luck than management, the guys manage to round up the bad guys and save the day.
Scooby plays up the Supernatural/Ghostly angle big time, most episodes see features the baddies dressing up as something otherworldly and most episodes see Shaggy and Scooby scared out of their wits. This new release features episodes 5-8 from the first season, A Decoy For Dognapping sees the gang investigating a spate of Dog kidnaps. What the Hex Going On? sees the guys tangling with a ghost. Never Ape an Ape Man sees Daphne getting everyone involved in her Uncle's latest horror movie but soon finds strange things going on. Finally there is Foul Play in Funland is a classic example of the series set in an abandoned amusement park and a dodgy robot.
One of the all time great kid's tv shows, it's fantastic to see the show in its original running order, these early episodes are definitely the best and every one should find some time to revisit them.
The DVD also includes a bonus episode from the Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue series.
