Producers: Ed Self, Robert A. Cinader / Executive Producer: Jack Webb

Exciting drama series that told stories of Squad 51 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Paramedical Rescue Service.
Overseen by Jack Webb and filmed in the documentary type style of his own Dragnet series, this starred Kevin Tighe and Randolph Mantooth as Paramedics Ray DeSoto and John Gage who would find themselves on three or four occasions per episode rushing to the scene of one accident or another.
The other regular characters included Dr's Kelly Brackett and Joe Early, nurse Dixie McCall, Captain Hank Stanley and firemen Marco Lopez, Chet Kelly and Mike Stoker.
The final season was made up of occasional two hour feature length episodes and there was also an animated version on NBC in 1973 called Emergency Plus 4 which saw the team helped by a quartet of kids.
