Sitcom. Episodes in the life of middleclass Dentist Ben and his family, wife Susan and kids Nick, Janey and Michael. A rare example of a UK sitcom using the American team method of writers with this using combinations of five different writers. The five writers were:- Fred Barron, Steve Armigoda, John Armigoda (all from the USA), Ian Brown and James Hendrie. Interestingly the lead character shared the same name as the Dentist husband in Butterflies. From the 2002 season daughter Janey left for university and has only appeared in cameo roles in a couple of episodes since.A 30 Minute Christmas special episode was broadcast 25 December 2002. Series 5 saw DANIELA DENBY-ASHE returns to the series as a regular and KRIS MARSHALL leaves as a regular but making occasional guest-appearances. Christmas special December 2006. 2007 season began Friday 6 April.
