Channel 10 commission The Great Australian Spelling Bee

It’s become something of a big thing in the states and now Channel 10 want a part of that Spelling Bee action. The network have commissioned a family series from Shine Australia that will feature a knockout tournament featuring Australia’s best young spellers.

The Great Australian Spelling Bee will air later in 2015 in the meantime though if you think your kids know their way around a dictionary you can apply here.

Channel 10: Sam Wood is the new Bachelor

Production has just started on Channel 10’s third season of The Bachelor with Sam Wood being chosen as the man who is looking for his soulmate. Expect a rash of poorly judged jokes and puns from the Australian media over Sam’s surname too.

Previous winners of the series have been Tim Robards (most recently seen on I’m A Celeb with girlfriend Anna who he chose on the show) and Blake Garvey who notched up a huge amount of publicity for the show with his antics.

Wood runs a fitness company and is from Tasmania.

Channel 10: Bondi Vet Series Return 21 March 2015

Fresh from his stint in the African jungle as co-host of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here vet Dr Chris Brown’s popular series Bondi Vet will be back on air from Saturday 21 March 7.30pm on Ten.

This will be the seventh series of the animal hospital show, Brown’s stock is rising even higher thanks to Celeb so Channel 10 will be hoping for solid numbers.

I’m A Celebrity AU: Daily Eliminations Anna and Joel Depart

And then there were four… A double elimination meant we said goodbye to Anna and Joel on last night’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Anna was pleased to be leaving however Joel, judging by his late night conversations with Chrissie, definitely thought he was in with a shout for the title.

The best bit about last nights episode was how quickly the Chinese Whispers game descended into chaos and rudeness!!

Tonight is the final elimination before Sunday’s grand finale and remaining are Chrissie, Freddie, Barry and Maureen.

I’m A Celebrity AU Daily Evictions: Julie Goodwin leaves the camp

The pace is hotting up with less than a week left before Sunday night’s big finale and the daily eliminations on I’m A  Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here are continuing to whittle down the remaining contestants.

Last night saw camp cook Julie Goodwin receiving the most save me votes and being asked to leave. Despite being an intruder, arriving with Freddie Flintoff after the show had already begun, Julie had made herself a vital and well liked member of the camp.

Her tip for winner was Barry but our money is still on Chrissie.
