Auf Wiedersehen Pet: Hasta La Vista (ITV 18 Apr 1986)

In Hasta La Vista the trip to Spain is delayed for a few days so Ally Fraser invites the boys over to his luxury mansion where Wayne quickly spots the fragrant Vicki. Moxy realises that his passport might not be good enough to get him abroad so he disappears in the night. Fraser wants seven men over there so arranges for another worker (who just happens to owe him some money) to take his place, the boys are none too impressed as he is the same fellow who tried to start a fight with them in a nightclub a few nights earlier.

Another of the two episodes set “oop north” as the lads prepare for the Spanish trip, Sammy Johnson who plays Martin, the builder who is desperate to join the gang so he can pay back Fraser was a big friend of the Geordie contingent of the series and he would go on to co-star with Jimmy Nail in Spender, he died young (at the age of 49) whilst jogging near his home in Spain.
