The Brothers: The Chosen Victim (BBC-1 14 March 1976)
In The Chosen Victim it’s the circular swirl of relationships for The Brothers that is driving things, David takes Clare out to dinner and tells her that he would like to be with her permanently, she makes it plain though that she wants to keep her options open with Paul Merroney (who basically just likes to keep her dangling on a string).
Brian is clearly growing fonder of Jane Maxwell and the pair spend a lot of time together outside of work as they put a new project together and Ted and Jenny are finally coming to terms with having to give back their fostered child.
Meanwhile Gwen is trying to persuade Bill that they really do need to move into a house of their own. He agrees but only if Gwen agrees to economise.
On the business front another business, Kirkmans, is doing its best to buy up Hammond’s shares in a bid to gain control of the company, the thing is though – why?
