Sitcom Fiddlers Three, from the pen of the usually reliable Eric “Rising Damp” Chappell detailed the misadventures of three executives in a computer company. Ralph West (Peter Davison) was the main character, happily married to Ros (Paula Wilcox). Along with the rest of the staff, especially Harvey and Osborne (the Fiddlers Three of the title) Ralph seemed to spend more time dabbling in office politics and trying to get promotion than he did working.
J.J. Morley (Charles Kay) was head of accounts.
The premise was basically a reworking of Chappell’s own 1970’s sitcom The Squirrels but failed to really catch fire.
