In At The Deep End (BBC-2 1982-1984 and 1987)
Documentary series In At The Deep End saw two ex-That’s Life presenters Chris Searle and Paul Heiney undergo vigorous training (over a few weeks) in order to try out different professions. Most were light hearted such as Searle attempting to become a pro-snooker player or a press photographer.
Other professions the pair tried their hand at included shepherd, bookie, opera singer, fashion designer and auctioneer.
