Spooky drama. Three months after their marriage Phrynne and Gerald Banstead spend some time at picturesque East Anglian pub The Bell, deserted apart from the owners Mr and Mrs Pascoe and the strange Commander Shotcroft, the Bansteads soon find out they are in for a night of terror.

Repeated on BBC-1 on 5 December 1969. The production is no longer in existence but in 2002 Mark Gatiss and Jeremy Dyson of The League of Gentlemen mounted a radio version with George Baker and Barbara Shelley as The Bansteads. 1 of 6 productions that went under the Umbrella title Late Night Horror.
