The Name of the Game

The Name of the Game was a series of feature length dramas about the staff of various magazines under the Howard Publications banner owned by Glenn Howard. The series sprang out of the one off 1966 TV Movie Fame is the Name of the Game. The three stars appeared on a rotating business and each episode focused on a different story the leads were working on.

Dan Farrell was a former FBI agent whose work focused on organised crime as editor of Crime Magazine; Jeff Dillon was an investagative reporter for People Magazine. Peggy Maxwell was their editorial assistant.
