Paranoid Episode 2 ( ITV 29 Sep 2016, Polly Walker)

In episode two of the intriguing Paranoid German cop Linda Felber is asked to interview the victims ex-husband Reuben Lacarna only to find him dead in his swimming pool, apparently having over indulged in drink and drugs with a new girlfriend.

Meanwhile the squad are still being targeted by “The Ghost Detective” who is both seemingly helping the investigation by sending strange letters that appear to be clues and hindering it by posing as a policeman and interviewing witnesses and also by taking evidence from the home of victim Rachel’s father.

Another strong episode, this is definitely starting to look like no straightforward investigation. Theres also a rom-com subplot developing between Nina and Alec with Nina having been dumped by her partner last week. Bobby Day is also getting rather too involved with chief witness Lucy Cannonbury.
