Crime drama series. Stories of a young private detective who recieves little encouragement from his family.

The character had previously appeared in an episode of The Rockford Files. Brockelman worked out of the Bromley Building at 4th and Almeda in LA – office number 24, next door to Chelsea Antiques. Like all the best TV PI’s Richie had a contact in the police department in the shape of Ronnie and her boss Sergeant “Smitty”.

The pilot aired 27 October 1976 (it was called Missing 24 Hours) and featured Norman Fell in the role of Ritchie’s father – John Randolph took the role in the series.
