Special Branch: Visitor From Moscow (ITV 10 Dec 1969, with Jack Shepherd)
In Visitor From Moscow Jordan is babysitting visiting Russian Lt Colonel Kamarov who is looking after the arrangements for a forthcoming UK visit by a prominent Russian VIP. Kamarov is keen to see the sites and is getting on well with Jordan but he is also keen to see that potential troublemaker Peter Watson detained in case he does anything to stir up trouble during the dignitaries.
Watson has become something of a political agitator. He is engaged to a Russian girl but hasn’t seen her for six years because she keeps being refused an exit visa.
The brilliant Jack Shepherd plays Watson and there is short appearance from Ronald Magil best known for his long running role as Amos Brearley on Emmerdale Farm.
