In Murder in Mind a middle aged woman wanders into a police station claiming to have committed murder, the police discover that she has been in a car accident and suffered temporary amnesia and the murder she is referring to serves as the basis of the plot for her wealthy novelist husbands new book. Newly promoted Detective Constable Tom Patterson is convinced there is more to the case though and will not stop digging and soon it becomes clear that something sinister is going on.
Quite a straightforward crime drama Murder in Mind still has plenty going for it, Donald Gee is particularly strong as the dogmatic Detective Patterson. Richard Johnson doesn’t have a great deal to do but carries quite an air of mystery about him.
