Toad Of Toad Hall (BBC 1946, Kenneth More, Jon Pertwee)
Live action fantasy comedy drama Toad Of Toad Hall told stories of the extremely energetic Toad who manages to create havoc for his fellow riverbank chums.
This was the first of several productions of this all time classic and it was remounted a week later on the 6 January 1947 (this was standard operating procedure for live BBC performances at the time. Other BBC productions were mounted in 1949 and 1953.
