KAYE WRAGG JOINS THE BILL

Showing: UK - ITV1 Network

Criminals won’t be able to rest easy knowing that Sun Hill has recruited tough new PC Diane Noble played by Kaye Wragg.

Ex-Army Corporal Diane, who has an unparalleled ability to put the booze away, will enjoy hanging out with the boys especially Dan (Chris Jarvis) and Will (Gary Lucy). She will not however, have any time for Sgt Nikki Wright (Gillian Taylforth) whose policing attitude couldn’t be any different from hers.

Diane will speak her mind and ruffle a few feathers along the way. As well as speeding around in the area car, viewers will also see a softer side to PC Noble when she supports a colleague who hits rock-bottom.

Best known for her role as Kate in No Angels, Kaye has also starred in The Lakes, A Thing Called Love and The Sins, to name but a few. We are delighted to have cast her in The Bill and her anticipated debut as a police officer will hit screens on ITV1 at the end of August.

Kaye said: “I’m extremely excited to have landed a regular role in the The Bill although at the same time, it is a daunting task to join a long-running and well established successful show.

"I’m looking forward to having the time to develop my character which I have never had the chance to do before and see her through an exciting journey.”
