Period drama about a
WVS lady who is reunited with her daughter after the war and then reunited
with her husband, returning from active service. She has been having a
nice time of it during the war, working as a driver and living in a run
down manor house in Devon. Her husband, Roger, who is a banker and
conservative by nature, finds he cannot adjust to life after the war and
their marriage breaks down. The production was previously mounted by ITV in
