Western Adventure pilot for a series that never emerged.
The exploits of Jim Bridger, the legendary pioneer mountain man who opened the West for settlement in the 1830s. Bridger seeks to blaze a trail from Wyoming to the California coast to prove President Andrew Jackson’s theory that the territory is accessible and thwart the plan by Senator Daniel Webster to give the Pacific Northwest to England in exchange for fishing rights for New Englanders in Newfoundland coastal waters.
