Drama. The pilot film for the series of the same name. While both the series and the pilot film depicts the work of fire fighters in Los Angeles, the pilot presents the original story line, which was later dropped: experiences of Shelly Forsythe, a rookie fireman, as he struggles to cross the color line in an all – white fire company.
