Comedy: The exploits of Maxwell Smart, Secret Agent 86, a bumbling klutz, and his beautiful level headed female partner, Agent 99, the top operatives of C.O.N.T.R.O.L., an international spy organization dedicated to destroying the diabolical objectives of K.A.O.S., an international organization of evil. (To protect their identities in the presence of 99’s mother, Max and The Chief, the head of the Washington branch of C.O.N.T.R.O.L., adopt an aliases of Maxwell Smart, a salesman for the Pontiac Greeting Card Company, and The Chief, Howard Clark, his employer. Unaware of her activities as a spy, 99’s mother believes her daughter is Howard’s secretary.) In 1989 ABC broadcast a TV Movie revival called Get Smart Again and in 1995 there a brief revival.
