Bizarre reality show in which the members of Australian rock band INXS use the big brother format crossed with Australian Idol to find a new singer to replace Michael Hutchence (who was found hanged in his hotel room in the early 90's). 15 Wannabes (culled from auditions across 20 cities on six continents were thrown together to earn their right to be new lead singer of INXS. The band had twice before tried to replace Hutchence, first with Terence Trent D'Arby and then Jon Stevens, ex of
Noiseworks.
The finalists were Mig Ayesa, Neal Carlson, Jordis Unga, Tara Sloane, Jessica Robinson, Daphna Dove, Brandon Calhoun, Deanna Johnston, Heather Luttrell, Suzie McNeil, JD Fortune, Will Seabrook, Ty Taylor, Marty Casey and Dana Robbins. The winner was JD Fortune and the hosts were Brooke Burke and Dave Navarro.
